ATG launches AI assistant Elli, developed in collaboration with the AI agency Talking to me

Harness racing players now have new opportunities to access statistics and information more easily through Elli—a groundbreaking solution designed to simplify and enhance the betting experience on V75. Elli is an AI assistant developed by ATG in collaboration with Talking to me, specialists in GenAI and product development.

“Elli” is based on the latest generative AI technology and offers harness racing players advanced analysis, statistics, and insights ahead of their bets. The assistant is now being launched in a beta version for 25 percent of ATG’s customers.

“We are proud to have developed a solution together with ATG that is truly at the forefront. Generative AI opens up entirely new possibilities for the user experience, and Elli is an excellent example of how to make extensive and complex data accessible through a powerful and user-friendly tool,” says Mattias Falkendal, CEO of Talking to me.

“Elli can be described as a digital betting companion that helps, guides, simplifies, and saves time for our customers,” says Sten Andersen, Head of Innovation and Future Business at ATG. “This is tomorrow’s interface. Users’ digital behavior is rapidly moving in this direction, which is why it is important for us to stay ahead.”

Elli – a digital betting companion

In V75, around 90 horses compete every Saturday, with up to 15 in each race being compared against each other. At atg.se, there is a vast amount of statistics, tips, and information available for those who want it. Elli helps compile, compare, and quickly answer questions about the race day.

“Instead of searching and scrolling on their own, customers can now use Elli to gather the facts they need about V75 and the participating horses, and present them in the format the customer prefers,” says Sten Andersen.

With Elli, users can, by asking questions in natural language, get help with:

  • Summarizing a V75 race day or a single division
  • Receiving information and comparisons about horses and drivers
  • Analyzing history, win percentages, and other statistics
  • Getting summarized analyses and recommendations from external experts

The AI assistant has been developed to adapt to users’ needs and improve over time through continuous learning.

“We see AI as a central part of the future user experience. With Elli, we are taking a major step forward by offering our customers an innovative tool that simplifies betting and makes it more engaging,” says Sten Andersen.
