Launch: New genAI service for Church’s regulations

Verbum and the GenAI specialists at Talking to me today announce the launch of ‘Kyrkoordningen AI’, a service that makes it possible to interact with the Church of Sweden’s regulations (Kyrkoordningen) in a completely new way.

With Kyrkoordningen AI, users can chat directly with the 2025 edition of Kyrkoordningen and receive answers with clear source references. Unlike, for example, ChatGPT, the service is strictly developed to respond only based on Kyrkoordningen, which guarantees that the answers are relevant and anchored in the regulations.

“We want to make it safer for employees and elected representatives in the Church of Sweden to navigate Kyrkoordningen. Through AI, new possibilities are opened for accessibility and understanding of the regulations, while users get to help shape the service’s development,” says Annika Waldenström, CEO of Verbum.

The service is built on the latest developments in generative AI and is one of the first solutions launched within the Talking to me concept GenAI Solutions-as-a-Service™. The concept is based on rapid product development through the use of standardized modules within TTM GenAI Platform™, combined with ongoing, long-term optimization and management of the solution in production.

Kyrkoordningen AI is initially launched as a beta version. The aim is to develop the service further in close dialogue with users. Feedback from parishes and users will be crucial to ensure that the service remains relevant, safe, and well-rooted in the Church’s mission.

All interactions in the service are anonymous for the user. No conversations are saved or shared, but logs are used to improve the quality of the service.
